OBDFix membership is free of charge (subject to the rules, conditions, limitations and grading/rating criteria defined under "Terms of Use", and includes access to the most popular code-based solutions available.
OBDFix members must satisfy the requirements listed below.
As an OBDFix member, I certify that:
- I am working full time in the automotive service industry and have access to the resources of a professional repair facility.
- I will be respectful of other members, and will spend time reading the website prior to participating.
- Also, my conduct shall be professional at all times.
- I agree to share my knowledge and experience with others. For example, I will offer help in the form of replies to other members' help requests prior to asking for help from other members.
- The statements and/or advice that I make shall be competent, accurate and truthful to the best of my knowledge.
- I will not advertise any product or service of any kind to members of this group.
- I will not ask vehicle-specific technical questions without first checking my local resources and fully examining the vehicle first. I understand that OBDFix may send administration announcements by email.
- I will keep my email address and other information on OBDFix as up-to-date as possible using the settings area on OBDFix. (We depend on email to communicate with our members, to send notices, forgotten passwords, etc.)
